Mediocre food but great chips. No vegetarian tacos on the menu. Miss McCabe has spent more time there than I and she has this to say: Breakfast here is very worth it, especially the "crunch French toast."
Fun jukebox of Mexican classics.

Friendly and nice - the food is not bad but lacks depth. Hippy Mex. I have had some very tasty desserts here though, and they have blueberry lemonade. At least I think it was blueberry. My memory, it fails me. Heather likes their quesadillas, and reminded me that there is not a lot of seating. There is a bit more in the warm weather, they have a few tables outside.
El Loco Burrito 2 (Williamsburg)
Bedford and Grand
Really really boring. I quote Raj "I've had more
exciting chemistry lectures"
Imagine a burrito that is mostly made up of unseasoned brown rice and you will probably have something in mind slightly more exciting than this.
Matamoros Puebla Grocery (Williamsburg)
193 Bedford Ave
Brooklyn, NY 11211
Small deli with food counter in the back and about three tables in case you want to eat in. Burrito was moderately tasty even though it consisted of mostly beans and rice - choice of green or red sauce. Tamales were ok but bland and featured the dreaded frozen vegetables - the variety with the lima beans and little square potatoes to go along with the little square carrots. Torta was ok maybe, needed some spunk - don't think I'd get another one really.
Sally's Burritos (Williamsburg)
280 Bedford Ave
Standard New York Cal-Mex. The beans are a bit strange, but not too bad. Similar menu to Blockheads. Ok but not spectacular.
Vera Cruz (Williamsburg)

Burritos with carrots are a travesty. Good frozen Margaritas. Or should I say frozen margarita machine. Tacos are single
layer extra small corn tortillas. The mushroom ones are ok, but nothing to go
out of your way for. Tends to be crowded. Sally's is just right up the street, and you probably won't have to wait for a table. Or Matamoros for that matter, which is right next door.
